Screw Conveyor

Screw conveyors are a mechanical tool used to transport items from one location to another. They comprise of a helical screw blade that rotates and are often mounted on a shaft and housed inside a tube or trough. The material is transferred along the trough or tube's length while the screw revolves. These are used in a variety of industries, including agricultural, mining, food processing, and manufacturing, to transport bulk items like grain, powders, and chemicals. Screw conveyors are also used to convey sludge and other materials in wastewater treatment facilities. These are chosen over other conveyor types because they are reasonably easy to use, functional, and affordable.
